Opened on September 18, 2004 middle harbor shoreline park offers a unique look at Oakland's natural bayside beauty and its industrial and economic importance. Having seen signs for the park every morning on the way to work I decided to see what all the hype was about.
With ample and informative "signage" I learned a lot about local maritime activities and history and efforts to preserve some of the natural habitat.
But the most intriguing feature of this park is its location, with striking views of intricate industrial machinery and the beautiful bay it offers the best of both worlds. I highly recommend that YOU check it out for yourself.
